Redesign 2019

Arriving in mid-2019, a redesigned third-generation Continental GT will ride on VW Group's MSB platform, which also underpins the Porsche Panamera. Power comes from a 6.0-liter turbocharged W12 that reaches 626 hp and 664 pound-feet of torque. Bentley has kept the nameplate fresh since it was introduced in 2003 with several variants. That won't change anytime soon.

Addition 2019

Bentley's redesigned 2019 Continental GT convertible closely follows the redesign of the 2019 Continental GT coupe. The convertible will be powered by a 6.0-liter turbocharged W-12, the same engine found in the coupe, which produces 626 hp and 664 pound-feet of torque. It's paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. The roof can retract in 19 seconds and it also can be customized with seven colors to choose from. The convertible has a curb weight of 5,322 pounds, 375 pounds more than the coupe variant. Bentley says the redesigned convertible's body-in-white is 20 percent lighter than the previous generation.
