The 2019 Nissan Maxima has gone under the knife for a freshening, albeit minor. Debuting at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Nissan's flagship sedan is updated with a spruced up V-Motion front grille, new LED headlights, redesigned rear lights and a new rear fascia with quad-tip exhaust finishers. The interior receives more premium touches on the SR trim and a new Platinum Reserve package. The Platinum Reserve package offers tan leather appointments, which Nissan says mirrors the GT-R supercar. The package also comes with quilted textures on the seats. Power still is supplied by a 3.5-liter V-6 engine with 300 hp. Nissan also is making its Safety Shield 360 package available on the large sedan for the 2019 model year.
