Mexico, Canada reject U.S. NAFTA demands as talks wrap up

The ministers leading NAFTA negotiations wrapped up the latest round of high-level talks after Canada and Mexico rejected what they see as hardline proposals by the U.S. The three countries agreed to extend talks to retool the trade pact into early 2018.

California DMV proposes relaxed regulations for self-driving cars

The California Department of Motor Vehicles is proposing more lenient state regulations to allow manufacturers to test and deploy self-driving cars. The agency said it would allow autonomous vehicles to be tested without a human behind the wheel.

Former auto dealer Denny Hecker is still in federal prison, contrary to last week's reports by several news outlets that Hecker was released to a halfway house in Minneapolis.

Porsche launches subscription pilot in Atlanta
