Fiat Chrysler has agreed to sell its car-parts unit, Magneti Marelli, to KKR & Co.’s Calsonic Kansei in a deal valued at up to $7.1 billion, Bloomberg reported.
Calsonic Kansei has lined up around 5 billion euros ($5.9 billion) in financing from Japanese banks to help fund its proposed acquisition of FCA's Magneti Marelli unit, Reuters reported.
